Alex Megelas

Alex Megelas is a Montreal-based educator and community organizer. In the 90s, he co-ran indie rawk label Grenadine Records and was involved with the Montreal Anarchist Soccer crew and the Spokes Folks bicycle gang. As a visual artist, he used to do maps of dungeons and drawings of kickass magical blades. As a musician and performer, he played keyboards (badly) for flash in the pan punk band the Donners, was the founder of sing-along collective Best Friends, and of multi-instrumental freeform gathering Blackheart Family & Families. He lives in Rosemont with his family and cats.
