Created as a dystopian version of the future way back in 2009, this map is a reflection on geopolitics, including a wal-mart farm, a virtual security center and a pond of Galilee as well as parts of many world cities including Beijing, Washington DC and Tehran among others.

A city map created for a co- research residency in Copenhagen, specifically, Christiania, an autonomous neighborhood with artists elle.onne and Hugo B Hugo. It is the aspirational version of the area. A second map, a research version, was created while there and abandoned in the city at the end of the residency.

My art is encrypted with subtext while simultaneously portraying intriguing stories. My work comprises many layers of meaning as well as questions. In the end, it is enveloped within an honest feeling of doubt providing no clear answers, but rather a complex story to share.

Wouldn’t that be how memories look in our head? Glimpses and pieces of what we saw and did, all mashed up together. Here’s a series of collages made out of digital and analog pictures that were taken during my first visit to South Florida in April 2024. There are impressions of Hollywood Beach, Lincoln Road, Key West, Coral Castle, Shane Watt and Gregory Dirr’s work.
